Relax Lah 2015 - 21 Nov!

Dear Residents,
Our Annual Relax Lah Event will be happening this Saturday, 21 November, 5-9pm.
Date: 21 Nov (Sat)
Time: 5-9pm
Venue: Playground Area

Do join us for the fun! There will be limited tickets sold on the spot, for those who are keen and have not bought your tickets yet.

For those who have purchased tickets, the self defense workshops and gardening workshop is still open for signups. Please sign up as soon as possible, if you are keen.

Also, do take note that goodie bags will be given out for those who have purchased tickets, while stocks last!

Upcoming Walks in November

Dear Residents,

Please note that there will be an upcoming walk organised on the 1st Saturday/ Sunday Morning and 1st Sunday evening in November. 

Dates: 7 November AM, 8 November AM and 8 November PM

Route: The route for November will be updated via whatsapp

Meeting Point: Banner Post between Walk and Rise

There will be new indemnity forms distributed via mail to both existing members in the Lakeside Walker interest group and for those who are keen on joining this interest group. 

For more information about the Lakeside Walkers, please refer to the Current Interest Groups tab on our blog. 

Also, at the moment, we are keen on forming a Lakeside Golfers group.

Also, take note that N95 masks (picture below, right) help with filtering fine airborne particles in the haze, whereas the surgical masks (picture below, left) do not.

Final Lakeside 50 Walk on 2 August

Congratulations to the Lakeside 50 Walkers who have managed to complete 50km!
They concluded their series of walks with a walk along Admiralty Park.

Walk at Marina Bay on 10 May (Sunday) | RSVP latest by 6 May (next Wed)!

Dear Residents,

Please note that as part of the Lakeside 50 Project, there would be a walk at Marina Bay on 10 May. Residents who are not regular walkers involved in the Lakeside 50 Project, but are keen to join us for this session are welcome!

Date:                   10 May 2015 (Sunday)
Time:                  7am-10am
Meeting Venue: Banner post between walk and rise
Event Venue:     Marina Bay

To note:
*Two-way transportation would be provided
*Breakfast would be provided
* Please bring along your walking card (for regular walkers of the Lakeside 50 project), umbrella, a bottle of water, cap and poncho (optional)
*Attire: Lakeside 50 T-shirt (for regular walkers of the Lakeside 50 project) / T-shirt (for the rest) , shorts/ track pants and comfortable shoes

**As we would be chartering a bus and providing breakfast, kindly note that all interested residents are to RSVP by 6 May, to avoid disappointment. 

The walking session on 10 May will be held at Marina Bay in particular, as the landscape of Marina Bay has undergone remarkable changes throughout Singapore's 50 years of progress. In addition, the walk symbolises the half-way mark of our Lakeside 50 Project, in which we aim to cover 50km to celebrate SG50.  
As such, regular walkers who have signed up for the Lakeside 50 Project are strongly encouraged to show your support and to come for this particular session!

Do take note that the Lakeside 50 walks will resume this week! As per the schedule shared in the previous post, there will be upcoming walks on 7-8 March (Saturday and Sunday)

The meeting venue for all walks will be at the banner post between walk and rise.

Lakeside 50 walk scheduled on this Sunday! (8 Feb)

Do take note that there are additional timeslots available on alternate Sundays for the Lakeside 50 walk.

The first Sunday walk is scheduled for this Sunday! (8 Feb).

Kindly drop Kelley an email at kelleylau27@gmail.com, latest by Saturday, 7 Feb, 12pm if interested in joining for the walk on 8 Feb. Do state your name, house number and contact number, for ease of communication and contact.
